Terminal blocks allow high current rating
Texim
MCM series terminal blocks
The MCM series of terminal blocks from Sauro allow a high current rating (16A/750V) by means of a contact spring wiring system.
This product maintains a tightening force which is comparable to the rising clamp.
By using a contact spring system, wiring can be carried out quickly and is not affected by vibrations.
It is possible to use rigid or flexible wires with ferrules, but flexible wires without ferrules can also be used by pressing on the appropriate switch.
The MCM series is available in metric pitches of 5mm, 7.5mm and 10mm, and imperial pitches of 5.08mm, 7.62mm and 10.16mm in a single-pole housing block.
All housings are modular, making it possible to compose the terminal block with any number of poles and/or colours.
By taking advantage of this characteristic, a minimum stock of basic terminal blocks can be kept.
Short circuit bridges are available to connect adjacent poles without obstructing the wire entry.
They can be inserted before or after soldering the terminal block to the PCB.
It is simple to manage the product, the warehouse and the assembly with the kit packages, because several versions can be received with only one code, and the part-numbers and risk of making mistakes are also reduced.
