VUB300 connectivity device
Elan Digital Systems has released its VUB300 connectivity device, providing a single SD/SDIO port via a USB 2.0 system interface.
The VUB300 provides universal support for any SDIO device, allowing it to run with any manufacturer's existing driver and application software without the need for any modification.
Key features of the device include low power, small package size (6 x 6mm QFN) and high data throughput.
It is primarily aimed at smartphone and portable internet devices, as well as standard notebook computers.
A complete development kit is available from Elan, including hardware, device drivers for all major OS and full documentation.
