Aaeon has announced an ISA half-size single-board computer (SBC), the HSB-910I.
The HSB-910I is based on the Intel 910GMLE and Intel ICH6M chipset, optimised for Intel Pentium M/Celeron M processors.
It supports Intel Pentium M/Celeron M processors up to 1.8GHz with an FSB of 400MHz.
Designed for support of BGA and socket processor packages, the HSB-910I can operate fanless with an Intel low-power CPU, or can be configured with a socket to support end user selection of the processor for greater performance.
Two SODIMM sockets support up to 2GB of DDR2 400 memory.
The HSB-910I is available with one or two Gigabit Ethernet controllers to meet demanding connectivity requirements.
It maintains the ISA expansion interface that is still common in industrial control and automation applications.
'Although HSB-910I is rich in I/O interfaces, such as four COM ports, five USB2.0 ports, one Parallel, a PS/2 and an IrDA port, this model still manages to maintain a competitive price.
'The HSB-910I also supports two SATA, an IDE, a CompactFlash socket and a floppy disk interface to meet the demands for versatile storage.
'It is a great solution to reduce the cost of system integration and planning,' said Kathy Lu, product manager of Aaeon's industrial system division.
The HSB-910I also supports CRT/LCD simultaneous display through the integrated Intel enhanced graphics core, offering high-quality display output.
The HSB-910I meets the requirements of various market segments, such as HMI, ITS, banking and transportation.
