DNA/DNR-DIO-470 series of relay boards
United Electronic Industries (UEI) has released a range of 10-channel electromechanical relay boards for use with the company’s Cube and Racktangle I/O products.
The DNA/DNR-DIO-470 relay boards are designed for a variety of high-current switching and digital control applications.
The Cube is a compact Ethernet-based I/O platform that can be deployed in four configurations: as an Ethernet I/O system slaved to a host PC; as a standalone data logger; as a Linux-based programmable automation controller; or as a Modbus TCP-based I/O slave.
According to the company, the Racktangle I/O chassis offers a similar capability as the Cube but in a 3U rack form factor with front-loading I/O boards.
Key specifications
- Each channel is configured as a standard Form C (SPDT) relay and switches voltages of up to 140VDC or 150VAC
- They are rated for continuous operation at 4A at 30VDC and 5A at 125VAC
- All relays default to ‘NC’ on power-up/reset
- Switching rates of up to 125Hz are supported
- Each relay is protected by an on-board 8A fuse
