Sealevel Systems can design and manufacture advanced custom carrier board designs for GE’s range of COM Express embedded processor modules for applications, including oil and gas, telecommunications and automation solutions.
The COM Express architecture is said to enable the upgrade of the processor subsystem as new processing technology is released.
This modularity promotes scalability and long-term availability for system designs.
According to Tommy Swigart, global program manager at GE Intelligent Platforms, Sealevel enables OEM customers to quickly implement COM Express-based solutions while reducing risk and avoiding the cost and learning curve associated with an in-house design.
