NDIS 540
Based on an ATI dual-embedded Graphic Core and AMD dual-core processor, the NDIS 540 has four separate DVI outputs, enabling it to stream independent content on four separate high-definition screens.
This feature reduces hardware and software procurement costs, enabling users to integrate one NDIS 540 into applications where previously four separate platforms were required.
Content can either be independent or cloned and can be displayed in any direction (portrait or landscape), giving users the opportunity to maximise advertising impact.
The NDIS 540 is designed to display most types of file format including MPEG1/2, WMV7/8/9, MOV, DivX, Xvid, H.264,AVI and SWF.
The NDIS 540 can support resolutions up to 1,920 x 1,200 per screen (cloned content) and up to 3,840 x 1,200 if only two screens are utilised.
The platform can support up to 4GB of DDR2 memory, with storage via 2.5 Sata Hard Drive and CF card.
Network connectivity is available via two GbE LAN ports with wireless connections via an optional Mini-PCIe module.
The platform's compact dimensions - 272 x 195 x 44mm - enables it to be mounted in space-critical environments.
With four independent DVI and audio outputs the NDIS 540 is aimed at multi-screen digital signage applications within retail, hospitality, transportation and public information.
