HE 875P CPU card

Taiwan Commate Computer (Commell) has unveiled the Pisa-bus half-size HE 875P CPU card based on the Intel 945GSE Express chipset.

The card supports Intel Atom processor N270, is power optimised and delivers robust performance-per-watt for cost-effective embedded solutions, the company said.

The board offers all interfaces required for solution and embedded lifecycle support for the development of digital signage, kiosks, point-of-sale, thin clients, digital security, residential gateways, and industrial control.

It is especially suitable for space-critical applications.

The HE 875P CPU card consists of the Intel 82945GSE graphic memory controller hub and Intel I/O controller hub 7-M.

It features a power-efficient 32-bit graphics core based on Intel GMA 950 architecture, and delivers graphics for large-display applications.

With dual independent display support and graphics core speeds up to 166MHz, the card provides many options for high-resolution display.

Commell's HE-875P CPU card supports DDR2 SO-DIMM up to 2GB, and comes with PS/2 keyboard and mouse, one RS232C and one RS232/422/485.

Networking is provided by two Intel 82574L Giga LAN, six USB 2.0 ports, AC97 audio, two SATA interfaces, IDE and Compactflash socket, expansion with one mini PCI and one Compactflash.
