Aaxeon Technologies has released the MSC-208C, an eight-port industrial RS-232/422/485 PCI Express card that is designed for industrial automation and manufacturing applications.
Offering a single high-speed serial slot and full compliance with PCI Express base specifications, the MSC-208C is universally compatible with up to eight new and legacy RS-232/422/485 devices.
It supports a baud rate up to 921.6kbps and may be offered with surge and isolation protection (MSC-208C-SI).
The MSC-208C contains both standard and low-profile brackets and is designed to support a wide range of drivers for Windows and Linux.
