TTC 36X extends I/Os in mobile applications
TT Tech Computertechnik
TTTech TTC 36X solution
TTControl, a subsidiary of TTTech, has developed a Canopen-based solution for extending the number of I/Os in mobile applications.
The TTC 36X is suitable for control tasks in a vehicle and acts as slave unit in a Can-based network architecture.
The I/O slave module TTC 36X is controlled by a master electronic control unit (ECU), which can be located at an entirely different place in the vehicle and communicates with the slave module via the Canopen protocol.
One or more TTC 36X can be used in addition to the master control unit in a modular way.
TTC 36X is delivered with a ready-to-run software.
Local current control on the PWM outputs of the TTC 36X allow efficient control loops on the slave module.
The dither frequency for the valves can also be individually configured.
The I/O module is protected by an aluminum pressure die-cast housing that is suitable for rough operation.
All units are programmable in Codesys and can act as master ECU for the TTC 36X.
The top models of the product family are IEC 13849 compliant and have been certified according to IEC 61508.
They can be used in applications up to Safety Integrity Level (SIL) 3.
