Niagara 2810 switches
Interface Masters Technologies has introduced a range of 10Gbit products targeted at networking inline devices, security appliances and central office applications.
The Niagara 2810 features four 10Gbit port switches with an additional 24Gbit port and active bypass switch capabilities.
The system can support two independent 10GByte segments, which can support aggregation, TAP, filtering and load balancing.
The system possesses active bypass capabilities that enable simple and quick plug-and-play connectivity of inline and security appliances.
The Niagara 2810 10Gbit aggregator switch range is managed by a 64-bit MIPS controller, which provides full CLI and GUI management.
The management system includes secure web UI via HTTPS, secure shell (SSH), SNMP, email notification upon special events, and trunk configuration.
The systems bypass functionality supports SR and LR fibre technology without any data loss.
The active bypass auto heartbeat is customisable and enables connectivity without the need for additional drivers, while adjusting the configured trunks according to the link status.
