Anybus Communicator CAN
HMS Industrial Networks has updated the Anybus Communicator CAN, which enables communication between any industrial device with a CAN interface and a chosen industrial network.
Following the initial release of the communicator in July, which offered connectivity to five networks, this upgrade offers support for 11 major fieldbus and industrial Ethernet networks.
In addition to existing support for CANopen, Devicenet, Profibus, Ethernet/IP and Profinet, the release supports CC-Link, Controlnet, Modbus RTU, EtherCAT, Modbus TCP and Profinet-IRT.
Designed to benefit system integrators and network designers, the Anybus Communicator CAN enables quick connections to be made between higher-level networks and CAN-enabled devices, such as frequency drives, sensors, actuators, human-machine interfaces, barcode readers, RFID readers, weighscales and other types of industrial machinery.
