Icon-3341 industrial Ethernet extenders
Icon-3341 point-to-point industrial Ethernet extenders from Axiomtek are said to be ideal for use in building automation, security surveillance, digital signage, factory automation and transportation.
The extenders can extend Ethernet connectivity in existing facilities over existing co-axial cable without pulling extra cable.
The reliable and rugged devices feature a wide operating temperature and long mean-time before failure.
In addition, the IP30-rated Icon-3341 series meets Nema TS1/TS2 standard for traffic control equipment and IEC61000-6-2 EMC generic standard immunity for industrial environment.
To break the standard distance barriers, the Icon-3341 series efficiently extends 10/100 Ethernet circuits to 200m (656ft) at up to 85Mbps using existing coaxial cable and up to 2,600m (8,530ft) at 1Mbps transmit performance.
For ease of maintenance, the Icon-3341 series features front-facing LED indicators for continuous status reports on network speed.
Designed for device-networking environments, Axiomtek's Icon-3341 series allows customers to keep using what they already have to establish a high-speed remote connection between two Ethernet networks.
The RJ-45 port on this unit provides auto-MDIX and auto-negotiation.
Installation is said to be easy, with a single switch setting to select local or remote site.
In addition, the Icon-3341 series comes equipped with a 12VDC redundant power input via a terminal block or power jack and is secured with power polarity reverse and an overload current resettable fuse.
To fit various application requirements, the RoHS device can be DIN-rail-, panel-, or rack-mounted.
