Kintex-7 FPGA

Xilinx has announced that it has delivered its first Kintex-7 K325T field-programmable gate array (FPGA), a next-generation programmable logic device built with 28nm technology.

Kintex-7 FPGAs are claimed to provide an optimal price-performance ratio at low power to meet a variety of requirements for key applications.

At the same time, the Kintex-7 FPGA range leverages the unified architecture shared across the 7 series 28nm device series to enable customers to begin FPGA development now for designs that may ultimately migrate to Artix-7 and Virtex-7 FPGAs.
