Datasound Laboratories (DSL) has introduced a range of fanless VOX-LCD open-frame panel PCs suited to applications including home automation, industrial process control and ticketing/payment systems.
Customers have a choice of four TFT LCD touch screens ranging in size from 8.4 to 15 in.
The powerful VOX-LCD embedded board integrates the fanless 800MHz Vortex86DX CPU with 512MB RAM; while 10/100Mbps LAN and up to three USB 2.0 ports and six serial ports cover challenging connectivity requirements, along with digital I/O and PC/104 expansion.
Additional IDE Disk-on-Modules, providing flash-based storage, simply plugs onto the IDE port of the CPU card.
With prices starting at GBP450, the VOX-LCDs are the latest addition to the growing DSL range of rugged and flexible panel PC products.
