Laptop customisation service
Steatite Rugged Division is offering an enhanced customisation service on rugged laptops and tablets from suppliers such as Getac and Panasonic.
An example of a typical customisation that can be undertaken is the integration of specific military specification connectors.
This may also include the design and installation of a rugged back box that attaches to the chassis of the laptop.
Other examples include the modification of cases or chassis to allow the inclusion of membrane switch panels, joysticks and other human-machine (HMI) interfaces.
Steatite Rugged Division's engineers are able to work closely with customers to develop the optimum solution for their applications.
Advanced 3D modelling and computer-aided design tools help speed the process and provide a solution that integrates well with the original laptop or tablet.
