GOT-815 touch-panel PC

Axiomtek has launched the GOT-815 series of 15in IP66-rated fan-less touch-panel computer, which is said to be ideal for outdoor applications, such as stadiums, zoos, theme parks and more.

The GOT-815 series comes with an industrial-grade for rugged conditions, operates well under sunny/rainy conditions, in dusty/wet spaces such as food factories or kitchens and many other severe applications.

Powered by Intel Atom processor N270 1.6GHz with Intel 945GSE Express chipset, the GOT-815 is said to deliver good computing performance at low-power consumption.

The GOT-815 consists of IP66-rated water/dustproof stainless steel housing and six IP66-rated connectors designed to protect the entire system from outside damage under any rugged environment.

This series has passed the IP66 test by SGS and the verified salt mist and the marine grade test by IEC60945.

This robust unit supports anti-scratch capacitive-type touch screen up to 7H to ensure operation stability and durability.

The front bezel is made of stainless type 316 to resist corrosion.

To withstand an extreme range of working temperatures, Axiomtek has equipped the GOT-815 to perform in temperatures ranging from -20C to +60C.

The panel computer accommodates sunlight-readable technology that integrates high brightness 80nits colour display with LED backlight and capacitive touch technology, allowing the screen to be legible under strong sunlight.

The fan-less unit features rich I/O of one RS-422/485, twp RS-232, four USB 2.0, one Ethernet, one VGA and one PS/2 (optional) ports.

It can withstand shock and vibration up to 3G for Compactflash and 2G for 2.5in SSD storage devices for system reliability.

Additional features include optional IP54 keyboard, optional 802.11b/g/n wireless kit, PCIe Mini card for expansion, optional suspension/Vesa ARM kit for installation flexibility, and one DDR2 DIMM sockets up to 2GB.

The robust GOT-815 is compatible with Windows XP, Windows CE Net, Windows XP Embedded and Linux.
