Nise 3144
Nexcom has launched a fanless industrial computer system that is targeted at PoE and/or mobile DVR applications.
Based on the Mobile Intel GM45 Express chipset, Nise 3144 is a PoE-enabled computer system that provides four PoE interfaces for connection to a variety of Class 3 PoE enabled devices, such as VoIP, IP camera, wireless access point and RFID reader.
With four PoE interfaces and onboard Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD, Nise 3144 is suitable for use as a mobile DVR computing platform, or for other applications that require video streaming, image processing or remote visual inspection.
In addition, Nise 3144 is said to have an exceptional passive cooling system, compact dimensions, outstanding reliability and long-term CPU support.
Designed to meet the requirements of graphic-intensive applications, Nise 3144 supports Intel's Core 2 Duo/Celeron CPUs, GM45 Express Chipset and Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD.
This Intel-based technology enables Nise 3144 to support 3D graphics and dual independent display via its 2 x VGA, DVI-D and LVDS outputs.
Nise 3144 can support up to 4G of DDR3 memory, which makes for improved graphics performance in applications such as surveillance and automatic optional inspection.
With integrated PoE interfaces, Nise 3144 can deliver a maximum 15.4W power load over 100m - eradicating the problems associated with providing power sources to various devices such as IP cameras.
Therefore, the Nise 3144 computing system is suitable for a variety of PoE applications, such as security control (with PoE enabled IP camera), logistics management (with PoE-enabled RFID reader) or ethernet communication (with PoE-enabled IP Phone).
For increased flexibility, Nise 3140 offers a range of I/O interfaces, including one PCI, two Gigabit LAN ports, four serial ports, six USB ports, two VGA, one DVI-I, and audio interface with enhanced power input range from 16-30V DC.
A version with an external fan module is also available.
