MTK-Dock-01 increases uses of MRC tablet PCs

MTK-Dock-01 vehicle-docking station
Nexcom has introduced the MTK-Dock-01 vehicle-docking station, which expands the functionality of its MRC range of tablet PCs.
The docking station is designed with RAM and VESA mount to enable all products in the MRC range to be securely mounted in a variety of vehicles, including forklift trucks, commercial vans/lorries, buses and emergency-services vehicles.
The MTK-Dock-01 was designed as a secure vehicle docking-station for Nexcom's MRC series of tablet PCs.
It has also been equipped with other important features that enable a multitude of different applications in various environments to be addressed.
For instance, the MTK-Dock-01 can support mini-card and for improved GPS and RF connection is equipped with an optional external antenna.
To further enhance connectivity, the docking station boasts two USB 2.0 ports, one COM port and can support Ethernet LAN 10/100 connection.
I/O connectors are rated to IP67 for use in extreme environments.
The MTK-Dock-01 is suitable for use with all products in Nexcom's MRC tablet PC range, including the MRC 2100 and MRC 2000.
