MX29GL and S29GL
MSC Vertriebs has introduced the latest high-density units from Macronix International, which are variants of the parallel flash GL128 and GL256 units.
Features of this high-density series include sector architecture, buffer programme and chip erase time.
The MX29GL is specified for a high voltage from Vhh 9.5 to 10.5V while the S29GL's ranges from Vhh 11.5 to 12.5V.
For an optimal system level power consumption performance, Macronix has implemented a deep power down mode that drives the current down to 5uA.
MX29GL products are command compatible with S29GL products; for product migration, no command modification is required.
Packages offered are 64FBGA, 56TSOP and 70SSOP.
The MX29GA series provides crypto engine read protection and password read protection.
