AMI401 embedded system

Ibase Technology, a manufacturer of embedded systems, has launched the AMI401 embedded system.

It comes with the high-performance Intel GM45 chipset-based MI945F Mini-ITX motherboard, enabling support for the latest Intel Corea2 Duo processors (Socket P type) and up to 4Gb DDR2 memory in two SO-DIMM modules.

For DVI output display applications, it can be paired with the optional ID392 daughter card.

Assembled with MI945F, the AMI401 system features the Intel GMA4500MHD graphics engine to offer support for a VGA CRT and one DVI output for applications requiring a multi-display solution.

Custom outlets for the onboard 18-/24-bit dual-channel LVDS signals can also be accommodated.

Encased in a silver chassis that measures 22.6cm x 26.35cm x 10.9cm, AMI401 provides a drive bay for one 2.5in (6.4cm) SATA hard drive and a PCI card expansion outlet.

A rear-panel input/output (I/O) interface with the MI945F board includes PS/2 KB/mouse, four USB slots, dual RJ-45, VGA CRT and audio jacks.

Another two USB ports are featured on the front panel, which are intended to facilitate device connections.

A 150W power adaptor and wall-mount kit are provided.

The AMI401 system can also be configured with other previous-generation chipset-based boards, such as MB899HF and MI910EF.
