AEC-6611

Industrial computing supplier Impulse has announced Aaeon Technology's AEC-6611, which is said to be ideal for applications with space constraints in the automation and process control markets.

The AEC-6611 has a slim and compact design, fitting it perfectly in the established Aaeon Boxer Lite series, according to the company.

It features the low-power Intel Atom N270 fan-less processor, support for DDR2 SODIMM system memory up to 4GB, and two Gigabit Ethernet ports for fast networking connectivity.

In addition, the AEC-6611 model is equipped with one miniPCI and one Mini Card for expansion flexibility.

The AEC-611 features four serial ports and four USB2.0 ports with the option of increasing the I/O count to eight serial and two USB2.0 ports while maintaining the same compact footprint.

It has ample storage facilities with a 2.5in Sata hard disk drive bay and Compactflash slot.

The AEC-6611 controller is compatible with WinCE 6.0, Windows XP Embedded, Windows XP, Windows 7 and Linux Fedora.

Impulse's team of in-house software engineers is available to assist with custom Windows Embedded imaging requirements.
