WADE-8020
Portwell has released WADE-8020, a Mini-ITX embedded system board that takes advantage of the Mobile Intel QM57 Express chipset to provide increased mobile computing performance and graphics.
At the heart of the WADE-8020 is Intel's Core i7/i5/i3 mobile processor, which is aimed at users who need the solutions that the previous Core 2 Duo and Core 2 Quad cannot provide.
WADE-8020 also includes: two SODIMM that support dual-channel DDR3 SDRAM up to 8GB; dual display via VGA/DVI/HDMI/LVDS; four SATA connectors up to 3Gb/s with RAID 0, 1, 5, 10; one PCI, one PCI-E x1 and one Mini PCIe; dual GbE based on PCI-E x1 high bandwidth I/O interface; Intel Active Management Technology (AMT) 6.0; and Inter Hyper-Threading Technology (Intel HT).
The board is suited for applications such as point-of-sale (POS), lottery, medical, gaming, high-resolution digital signage, surveillance security monitoring and kiosk.
