panel PC
Datasound Laboratories has introduced the APC-3x17 panel PC, a fully passively cooled touchscreen system running at up to 1.8GHz (x2), using the Intel T5550 Core2 Duo CPU.
Using these levels of performance, DSL has made it possible to provide localised processing power where it is really needed.
Satisfying a number of potential applications across a wide range of industries, including process control, automation, data collection and POS/kiosks, the APC-3x17 features an IP65 front panel and a large range of display sizes from 12.1in to 19in.
Individually built to exact specification in typically 2-3 weeks (including production quantities), the APC-3x17 provides a system fully customised to specific requirements in compressed timescales.
Ready to run, the units can be supplied pre-installed with a number of operating systems such as Windows XP, XP Embedded and Windows CE, allowing quick deployment straight from the box.
The most extensive I/O requirements, including USB 2.0 (4), RS-232 (3) and high-throughput Dual Gigabit LAN, are already in place, and an interface for application-specific peripheral cards is provided in the form of an internal PCI expansion slot.
The system is fully RoHS-compliant and has an operating temperature range of 0C to +50C.
The APC3x117 is supported by a 24-month warranty and is fully CE-certified.
