Axiomtek has launched the Ebox310-830-FL compact in-vehicle box computer.

The fanless Ebox310-830-FL has E-Mark Certification (E-13) and ISO-7937 power standard, which certifies it compatible with other vehicle components and meets Tier One car-markers' requirements.

In addition, the design of the power module incorporates an MCU microprocessor for power control.

The unit is powered by an Intel Core2 Duo processor with the Intel 945GME and ICH7M chipsets.

One 200-pin Dimm socket supports up to 2GB DDR2 400/533 DRAM for high-memory bandwidth.

The E-Box310-830-FL with anti-vibration up to 2Grms (with HDD) and good thermal resistance is an all-in-one in-vehicle computer for use in any car, truck, bus or even for maritime applications.

Measuring 224 x 250 x 65mm in size, the compact ideal features rich I/O connections, including one 2.5in Sata drive bay, one Compactflash Type-II socket, three COM ports, two USB 2.0, two Gigabit LANs, three SMA type connector openings, DVI-I, Power module consol port and audio.

Additionally the compact device delivers high-bandwidth expansion capability with two MiniPCI Express for custom system configurations such as GPS, GSM/GPRS, Wifi, Wimax, Bluetooth, HSDPA, and more.

Additionally, this in-vehicle box computer supports various embedded operating systems including Windows CE, Windows XP Embedded, and Linux.

For flexible installation, the Ebox310-830-FL can be DIN-rail-mounted, wall-mounted, or stand-mounted.

It has a built-in watchdog timer to reset the system after a crash or system error.
