ESM-GM45 computer-on-module
Avalue has announced that its ESM-GM45 computer-on-module (COM) supports Intel Core 2 Duo or Celeron M CPU.
The adopted Intel GM45 features graphics processing technology with GMA 4500, delivering good graphics and 3D rendering performance.
The ICH9M high-speed chipset drives system performance and suits many gaming machines, such as slot machines, video games or multiplayer games.
The front-side bus (FSB) up to 1,066MHz and two sets of 2GB DDR2 memory controllers scale up the processing speed.
The ESM-GM45 is said to feature high performance in a small package, measuring 125 x 95mm.
In terms of interfaces, the ESM-GM45 offers four Sata, eight USB 2.0, and four PCI, four PCIex1, and one PCIex16 expansion bus.
Integrated graphics enable the operation of dual monitors and allow dual-channel 18/24-bit LVDS for resolutions up to UXGA (1,600 x 1,200).
There is also onboard high-definition audio (HDA) support for multimedia applications.
The ESM-GM45 COM supports Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows XPe, Windows CE as well as Linux.
