The IP65-rated APC-3563 is a 15in panel PC, powered by the Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz CPU and supported with up to 2GB DDR Ram.
The panel PC, launched by Datasound Laboratories, is equipped with LAN, two USB 2.0 ports, one PS/2 port and one RS232 port.
The 11-28VDC supply and all connections are IP65-rated and are located at the rear of the brushed stainless steel enclosure.
This means that if necessary, the entire unit, including the 350cd/m2 1024 x 768 touch display, can even be hosed down.
An internal 2.5in HDD provides the storage mechanism for either a desktop O/S (i.e.
XP Pro), a truly embedded O/S (such as XP Embedded) or any other desired x86 operating system, which can be supplied pre installed by Datasound.
This fanless panel PC has a standard operating temperature range of 0C to +45C.
Options include IP54 rating should an internal PCI slot be required for additional application specific I/O and the manufacturer is offering a free custom image creation for new projects.
The APC-3563 also has a two-year RTB warranty.
