AEC-6911

Aaeon has released the AEC-6911, an embedded controller that adopts the latest Intel Atom processor to provide high performance and low power consumption.

The AEC-6911 is the first product from the Boxer A range.

It is an embedded controller based on the fanless design and mobile low power-consumption processor.

The AEC-6911 supports the Intel Atom N270 processor with 1.6GHz and DDRII SDRAM SODIMM system memory (up to 2GB).

This model features two PCI and two PCMCIA slots for expansion, four COM ports, two RJ-45 Gbit Ethernet and four USB 2.0 ports, allowing for communication with diverse devices with high transfer rates.

A Compactflash and SATA/IDE hard disk drive are available for larger storage expansion.

The AEC-6911 is equipped with a VGA, an audio and an S-video port, making it ideal for multimedia applications.

It is also suitable for use in the machine-automation market.

The Boxer series features thermal and vibration design (up to 55C operating temperature and 5g RMS vibration) with high expansibility and compatibility, making it suitable for harsh environments in factory and transportation applications.

The AEC-6911's expandable functions, compact size and efficient heat-dispersing design, make it ideal for rugged applications in factory control, machine automation, test instrumentation, safety surveillance and intelligent transportation.
