Console servers
Acrosser Technology, an industrial embedded computer manufacturer, has released its latest fanless embedded console servers to fulfil multi-purpose applications.
The console servers - ACS-N5630FL, ACS-N5430FL and ACS-N0631 - are designed for substation, public transportation and industrial automation applications and contain three RS-232 ports and five selectable RS-232/422/485 ports.
In most of the applications, users may request to use RS-422/485 to connect to outdoor devices, so four out of the five ports of the console servers have built-in magnetic isolation.
The console server products support different performance levels by using Intel Core 2 Duo, Pentium/Celeron M and the AMD LX800 processor.
The Compact Flash and 2.5in (6.4cm) HDD/SSD are also supported as the storage for operating system, software application and data log usage.
ACS-N5630FL and ACS-N5430FL have DVI S-Video to provide different display interface connections.
Dual-gigabit local-area networks also achieve the purpose of redundant security connection.
For the operating system, all Acrosser console servers support Microsoft Windows XP, XP Embedded, CE and Linux.
With compact dimensions of 251mm x 165mm x 67mm and a fanless heat ventilation design, the console server is able to operate in numerous locations.
