Mobile infrastructure for disaster recovery

Emerson Network Power - Adaptive Power and Cooling

Mobile infrastructure

Emerson Network Power is showing an all-in-one containerised data-centre infrastructure across Europe that could aid disaster-recovery efforts or allow the quick expansion of a data centre.

The mobile infrastructure is set to visit the Clarion Hotel Liffey Valley, Dublin, on 28-29 September.

The infrastructure can be an aid in disaster recovery, natural disasters and humanitarian actions, sports events, movie productions or in the quick expansion of a data center without a need for construction works.

The infrastructure can move rapidly to provide full and efficient protection for IT infrastructures that support operations in various circumstances.

During the infrastructure's stay at its various venues, guests will be able to experience is features, ranging from racks, UPS, power distribution and precision cooling, through to infrastructure management and monitoring software.

Guests will also be introduced to the Liebert APM, a compact double conversion online UPS that, according to the company, can provide up to 96 per cent efficiency.

Also prominent will be Avocent software for managing the physical infrastructure of data centres, that reduces operational risk and improves efficiency through the planning and management of data-centre resources and real-time monitoring.

Also featured are Knurr MiracellPlus racks, Liebert MPX rack power distribution units and Liebert CRV precision-cooling modules.
