Isolated DC/DC converters offered for telecommunications applications
Murata Power Solutions
UWS series of DC/DC converters
The UWS series of isolated DC/DC converters from Murata Power Solutions is suitable for a range of data and telecommunications applications.
The 50W units can operate within an input range of 18–75VDC and has an input-to-output isolation rated at 2,250VDC. The three models offer outputs of 3.3, 5 or 12 VDC and outputs of up to 54W are available without requiring forced air cooling.
The converters meet the DOSA standard for sixteenth brick dimensions of 1.31 x 0.91 x 0.36in and are available in through-hole and surface mount configurations.
Additionally, the series incorporates a number of self-protection features, including overcurrent, overvoltage, input undervoltage and overtemperature shutdown.
