Crydom, a brand of Custom Sensors and Technologies, has introduced a series of DC-output solid-state contactors for both general-purpose and motor-controller applications.
The DP series of high-power bridge configuration contactors includes control features for soft-start, soft-stop and brake functions.
According to the company, the DC reversers feature a solid-state design with 2.5Kv optical isolation and incorporate low-dissipation power FETs for fast and efficient load control.
Key specifications
- Rated for general use at 20A, 40A or 60A and for motor-controller use from 1–48VDC in a 40°C ambient temperature
- Accepts logic supply and input controls of 4.5–15VDC or 18–32VDC
- CE certified, RoHS compliant and UL/cUL recognised
