Campbell Collins offers DC/DC converters designed for high input voltage applications
Campbell Collins
MGDS-75-S series
Campbell Collins is offering the MGDS-75-S series of high-input-voltage DC/DC converters from Gaia Converter, which are targeted for use in avionic, aerospace, military and missile applications.
The MGDS-75-S series has an input voltage range of 155–480V, making it suitable for 270V applications such as those needing to meet MIL-STD-704E/F requirements or for use with power-factor-corrected, front-end converters such as Gaia’s HGMS-350 series.
The series consists of five individual single-output models, offering 3.3, 5, 12, 15 and 26V outputs and capable of delivering up to 75W in the industry-standard quarter-brick footprint of 57.9 x 36.8 x 12.7mm.
According to Campbell Collins, the units have ±10 per cent voltage-trim capability, efficiency levels up to 92 per cent and a standard operating temperature range of -40°C to +105°C case temperature, with an option available for -55°C start-up operation if required.
