Datel launches digital-to-analogue converters for applications such as waveform generators
Datel
DAC-12100 series of converters
Datel, a division of Murata Power Solutions, has introduced the DAC-12100 series of low-power 12-bit current-output digital-to-analogue converters, designed for use in harsh and rugged application environments, particularly those experienced in military and avionic platforms.
The converters, which feature a 100MHz conversion rate and TTL-/CMOS-compatible inputs, are suitable for speed-critical applications such as radars, signal reconstruction systems, waveform generators and communications equipment.
With a low glitch energy characteristic of 3.0pV-s, compared with the industry norm of 100pV-s, the DAC-12100 generates very little switching noise.
The complementary current outputs of 0mA to -20.48mA can directly drive 50ohm loads.
