Lithium-Ion and Lithium Polymer Charging Cradles
Globtek's five-bay Lithium Ion and Lithium Polymer Charging Cradles meet IEC 60950, UL 1310 and EMC standards and charge batteries in three phases: conditioning, constant current and constant voltage.
Charge is terminated based on minimum current level and a programmable charge timer provides a safety backup for charge termination.
The design incorporates an MCU for battery identification, charge status display and battery temperature monitoring using HDQ communication protocol from BQ27000 battery fuel-gauge IC embedded inside the battery pack.
Each bay can provide bulk charge current up to 750mA at 4.2V maximum voltage.
Modified, custom and higher wattage designs are also available and offered with a five-year warranty.
