Front-end power supplies
Martek Power has launched the T series of front-end power supplies, which are said to be hot-swappable, power-factor-corrected units.
Featuring a wide 90-264VAC or 36-72VDC input range, 12VDC or 48VDC (1,200W or 1,500W) output and a 5V standby output, the power supply series is designed for data storage, data communication and distributed power architecture.
The hot plug and active current sharing scheme of the T series enable continuous operation without interruption and redundancy to the 12VDC or 48VDC bus.
In addition, I2C management bus enables user to access the power supply's record, temperature, fan status, output voltage and current.
It also provides a warning before shutting down output due to over-temperature or fan failure.
The AC/DC front-end power supplies are compact (11.23 x 1.6 x 5.6in) enough that three units can be configured into a 1U, 19in shelf rack.
An efficient thermal design with internal fans permits their use over a temperature range of 0C to +55C and provides high reliability.
Versions with front-mounted (ATF, DTF) and rear-mounted (ATR, DTR) AC receptacles are available.
The T series meets UL/CSA and all international safety requirements.
