Ault PENT1040A/B/C/D injectors
SL Power Electronics has added to its range of high-power injectors and Gigabit injectors for Power-over-Ethernet (PoE), Gigabit-compatible applications with power up to 40W.
The Ault PENT1040A/B/C/D range provides power to devices through RJ45 jacks and high-speed data transfer over a single Ethernet cable.
The PENT1040 eliminates the need for expensive electrical contractors, scheduling and compliance with local code standards.
PoE technology has become increasingly popular for voice over internet protocol (VoIP) telephony, network security cameras, WLAN access points and security access control systems.
As devices within these market segments become more feature rich and need to reside outdoors, higher power - 40W and beyond - is required.
AC input voltage for the entire range is 100V to 250V AC and a load diagnostic LED indicates whether the injector is active.
The PENT1040 range features a non-vented desktop style and complies with EMI/RFI regulations; it is also CE compliant and meets safety approvals for OEMs to support customers worldwide.
Of the four models in the range, two are compliant with the pre-IEEE802.3at standard (PENT1040B and PENT1040D).
SL Power also offers the Personalised PoE service to provide customers with options to customise the power injector to meet specific technical, marketing or branding needs.
