SL Power Electronics has brought out a series of compact, 20W single-output power supplies designed for the volume commercial OEM looking for a reliable power source at a budget price.
The GECA20 Series provides a single output of 5.1, 12, 15 or 24V from a wide AC input-range of 90-264V AC.
Normal continuous output power from this convection-cooled unit is 20W, with a peak of 25W available for 60 seconds.
Operating temperature range is 0 to 85C.
The series measures 21.5 x 89 x 51mm (0.85 x 3.5 x 2in).
The power supplies are protected against short-circuit and output overload as well as over voltage.
They are RoHS compliant, CE marked to LVD and come with a two-year warranty.
According to SL Power, the new power supplies are approved to UL60950-1: 2003, CSA-22.2 No 60950-1-03, IEC and EN60950-1.
Conducted EMI exceeds FCC Class B and CISPR 22 Class B.
For those that also need a compact, medically approved power supply, SL Power Electronics produces the 22W MINT1022, which offers the same footprint as the new GECA20 Series.
