EASIC adds lower-power devices to Nextreme range
EASIC
Nextreme range
EASIC has launched two lower-power device options for its Nextreme range.
The NX750LP and NX750 devices are available with operating voltage down to 1.0V, enabling designers to achieve up to 40 per cent lower power consumption.
The 1.0V device options are optimised for applications that require low cost and low power, such as smart meters, portable projectors, toys and hand-held medical devices.
EASIC's Nextreme range provides an alternative to standard-cell ASIC designs, as it provides lower up-front development cost and risk.
The addition of 1.0V device options enable designers to meet power budgets and achieve longer battery by reducing static and dynamic power consumption.
The NX750LP and NX750 low-core-voltage device options are suitable for designs that require up to 55,000 logic cells.
These devices are available as part of the low-cost ASIC-in-a-box design kits.
