Protek PM400
Power Sources Unlimited has announced the Protek PM400 series of single-output 400W AC/DC power supplies, which are designed for medical applications and suitable for data networking and computers.
The PM400 series of AC/DC switching power supplies are capable of delivering 400W of continuous power in a 4 x 7 x 1.58in package with 7 CFM of forced air cooling or 300W convection cooling.
The units are constructed on a printed circuit board with a U-bracket for mechanical support and heat sinking.
A cover and fan assembly can be added during manufacture for 400W output without increasing the mechanical size.
They are designed for medical applications, but not for life-supporting equipment.
The units are certified also to IEC/EN/UL 60950-1 and suitable for data networking, computer and telecommunication applications.
All models meet UL 60601-1, TUV EN 60601-1, UL 60950-1, CSA C22.2 No.
60950-1 and TUV EN 60950-1 safety standard approvals.
Deliveries from stock take between eight and ten weeks.
Units are priced at around USD150 in OEM quantities.
