XP Power’s 20W JCM20 and JTK20 power metal-cased DC-DC converters are aimed at space-constrained, portable applications, as well as those where PCB space for the converter needs to be kept to the minimum and an industry-standard package pin out is required.
These board-mounted converters provide single- or dual-regulated outputs from a 25.4 x 25.4 x 9.90mm package.
According to XP, they achieve a power density of up to 51W/in3 and an efficiency of up to 89 per cent.
These products can also replace existing 1 x 2in packages, reducing required board space by 50 per cent.

- Input ranges of 9–18, 18–36 or 36–75V DC
- Single-output models provide 3.3, 5, 12 or 15V DC
- Dual-output models offer +/-5, +/-12 or +/-15V DC
- All outputs fully regulated to within +/-0.5 per cent over all input and load conditions for the single output models, and less than +/-1 per cent for the dual outputs
- Single-output models have an output trim that allows adjustment within +/-10 per cent of nominal output
- Input-to-output and input/output-to-case isolation of 1,600V DC provided across the range
- Operates at up to 65°C, without the need for any additional heatsinking or forced airflow
- With derating the can operate at up to 100°C
