CGA SEries ceramic capacitors
Designers of vehicle electronics systems and applications with extended temperature requirements can access an extended range of automotive-rated ceramic capacitors from TDK Corporation.
TDK's CGA Series of automotive-rated ceramic capacitors will carry unique part numbers with the CGA prefix.
TDK classifies its automotive-grade ceramic capacitors into two groups depending on their temperature rating.
Devices with the X7R nomenclature are rated for use from -55C to +125C.
X8R devices can be used in temperatures from -55C to +150C.
All devices offer a stable temperature characteristic of capacitance, with a mere +/-15 per cent change in capacitance over the operating temperature range.
The CGA Series of ceramic capacitors ranges from small form factor 0402 devices up to 1210 K-size products.
Devices are available with capacitances ranging from 100pF.
TDK capacitors are manufactured to extremely tight tolerances.
