Vigortronix’s single primary, dual secondary toroidal transformers
Rapid Electronics has introduced Vigortronix’s range of single primary, dual secondary toroidal transformers, which are designed for applications requiring high-performance current stepping in relatively small configurations.
Available in diameters from 80–115mm, the open-style toroidal components are available in various VA ratings and output voltages range from 0–6Vac to 0–55VAC.
Each transformer has a single primary winding accepting 230VAC, with output available via dual secondary windings.
The company claims these toroidal components also provide quieter and more efficient operation, which reduces size and weight for similar power ratings.
