Development of existing resistor technology has lead to a resistor range that offers high ohmic resistance values up to 1012 ohms.
In a 1206mm body size, 10Gohm can be achieved with a TC of 25ppm/C, 100Gohm is possible in a 2512mm body size and 1Tohm is possible in a leaded resistor with a body length of 25mm.
Temperature coefficient distribution is within 10ppm within the same production lot.
These resistors also feature very low voltage coefficient (VCR).
Resistors with exact resistance values and known temperature coefficient profiles are also available for reference purposes.
These devices are suitable for very high gain amplifiers such as those in photomultiplier tubes and transducer amplifiers.
