IRV Series power resistors get UL approval
Rhopoint Components
UL-approved power resistors
The 1,600-2,800W versions of the IRV Series power resistors have received UL approval.
The IRV1600-2800 models are very high power, wire-wound, metal-clad resistors.
The resistor elements of these models are fully encased in an extruded aluminium housing that provides rugged protection.
Standard options for this resistor series include flying leads or tab terminals and inductive or non-inductive windings.
Custom options include flying lead terminations, internal thermostats and customer part number marking.
The most common applications for these models are motor drive braking, high-power snubber applications and power sources for industrial equipment.
These models are fully RoHS-compliant.
