CPT temperature sensors
Rhopoint Components has brought out the CPT temperature sensors, which offer broad-level temperature sensing and compensation over the -50C to +150C temperature range.
They are made using a thin film-layer of platinum, which gives a linear temperature / resistance dependence.
Class A and class B accuracy devices are available and both conform to DIN EN 60751.
The 1206 case size (3.2 x 1.6mm) ensures a 10-second response time in air.
Because it is a surface-mount package, the CPT series can be handled by automatic pick and place machines.
