Z-Communications has released the CRO3567A-LF in S-band, an RoHS-compliant VCO (voltage-controlled oscillator).
The CRO3567A-LF operates from 3565-3568 MHz with a tuning voltage range of 0.5 - 4.5VDC.
It features a typical phase noise of -112dBc/Hz at 10KHz offset and a typical tuning sensitivity of 8MHz/V.
The CRO3567A-LF delivers a typical output-power of 3dBm at 5VDC supply while drawing 17mA (typical) over the temperature range of -40 to 85C.
It features typical second harmonic suppression of -40dBc and comes in Z-Com's industry standard MINI-16-SM package, measuring 0.5 x 0.5 x 0.22in.
It is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements.
The CRO3567A-LF is also ideal for automated surface-mount assembly and reflow.
CRO3567A-LF is well suited for satellite communication applications that require superior second harmonic suppression and ultra low phase noise performance.
