Z-Communications has announced an RoHS-compliant voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO), model V624ME05-LF in S-band.
The V624ME05-LF operates at 1,780-2,220MHz with a tuning-voltage range of 0.5-20V DC.
This VCO features a typical phase noise of -103dBc/Hz at 10KHz offset and a typical tuning sensitivity of 28MHz/V.
The V624ME05-LF is designed to deliver a typical output power of 8dBm at 5V DC supply, while drawing 28mA (typical) over the temperature range of -40 to 85C.
This VCO features typical second harmonic suppression of -15dBc and comes in Z-Comm's standard Mini-16-L package, measuring 0.5 x 0.5 x 0.13in.
It is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements.
The V624ME05-LF is also suitable for automated surface-mount assembly and reflow.
V624ME05-LF is suited for satellite communication and fixed wireless applications that require ultra-low phase-noise performance.
