Z-Communications has announced an RoHS compliant VCO (voltage-controlled oscillator), model CRO1220A-LF in L-band.
The CRO1220A-LF operates at 1,220MHz with a tuning voltage range of 0-5V DC.
This VCO features a typical phase noise of -118dBc/Hz at 10KHz offset and a typical tuning sensitivity of 2MHz/V.
The CRO1220A-LF is designed to deliver a typical output power of 3dBm at 5V DC supply while drawing 18mA (typical) over the temperature range of 0 to 70C.
This VCO features typical 2nd harmonic suppression of -24dBc and comes in Z-Comm's industry standard MINI-16 package measuring 0.5in x 0.5in x 0.22in.
It is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements.
The CRO1220A-LF is suitable for automated surface-mount assembly and reflow.
It is also suitable for satellite communication and microwave radio applications that require ultra-low phase noise performance.
