Total Frequency Control offers GPS-disciplined OXCO for applications such as base stations
Total Frequency Control
PT626-1000-GPS oven-controlled crystal oscillator module
Total Frequency Control has released the PT626-1000-GPS module, a miniature GPS-disciplined oven-controlled crystal oscillator (OCXO) that is designed for use in base stations, wireless networks, synchronisation systems and timing and calibration instruments.
According to the company, frequency correction signals are applied to the internal OCXO, ensuring an accuracy level comparable to a Caesium standard but at lower cost.
In the event of the GPS signal being temporarily lost, the device — manufactured by RFX — retains its previously acquired control settings and accuracy through the internal precision OCXO.
Key features
- Small package size (2.25 x 1.5 x 0.5in)
- Excellent phase noise
- Low ageing
