Surface-mount OCXO suits digital signal processors
IQD Frequency Products
Rakon OCXO
IQD has launched what it claims is the world's smallest surface-mount OCXO for applications such as digital signal processors, telecommunications transmission hubs and cellular base stations.
Developed by Rakon, the OCXO offers stabilities down to +/-20ppb over an operating temperature range of -40 to 85C and measures 9.7 x 7.5 x 4.1mm.
Frequency can be specified anywhere between 5 and 50MHz with standard frequencies of 10, 12.8, 19.2 and 20MHz being available on short lead times.
Multiple versions allow operation with a 3.3 or a 5V power supply and either a clipped sine wave or HCMOS output.
Phase noise figures are typically -125dBc/Hz at 100Hz away from carrier and -150dBc/Hz at 100kHz away from carrier.
In addition, current consumption is less than 400mW steady state and the frequency stability is +/-10ppb over the commercial temperature range of -20 to 70C.
